Your Safety at Copy House

Copy House sits on the natural clifftops of Uluwatu, above the Indian Ocean. It is one of the most beautiful settings in Bali. It is also a natural environment that carries real risks, particularly near the cliff edge.

We want every guest to leave with a memory they love. Please take a moment to read our safety guidelines before you visit.

 

The Cliff Edge

The cliff edge at Copy House is a natural, unfenced drop above the Indian Ocean. Please treat it with respect.

• Stay within the designated guest areas along the cliff. Do not attempt to access areas beyond the marked boundary.

• Do not stand or sit directly on the cliff edge. Surfaces near the edge can be uneven, loose, and unpredictable.

• Be especially cautious in wet conditions. Surfaces become slippery after rain. If conditions are unsafe, our team will advise guests to move back from the edge.

• Do not attempt to climb down the cliff face under any circumstances.

 

Children at Copy House

Copy House is a natural clifftop environment and is not a supervised or enclosed space. Children are welcome but must remain under direct adult supervision at all times, particularly near the cliff edge.

We respectfully ask that parents and guardians keep children close and within arm's reach when near the cliff. Children should never be left unattended in the outdoor areas.

 

Dogs at Copy House

Well-behaved dogs are welcome at Copy House on a leash. Dogs must remain on a leash at all times during your visit, particularly near the cliff edge. Please ensure your dog is under control around other guests and in all outdoor areas.

 

Sunset and Low Light Conditions

As the sun sets and natural light fades, visibility near the cliff edge reduces significantly. We recommend all guests move back from the cliff edge once the sun has fully set and natural light is low. Our team will provide guidance at this time.

 

Alcohol and Substances

Copy House asks that guests who are intoxicated do not approach the cliff edge. Our team reserves the right to respectfully ask guests to move away from the cliff edge if their safety or the safety of others is at risk.

Our staff are present at all times during opening hours. If you have any concerns about safety, feel unwell, or need assistance, please approach a team member immediately. We are always close by.

Visiting Responsibly

Copy House is set within a natural clifftop environment in Uluwatu. We ask all guests to respect the space — the land, the cliff, the ocean below, and the other guests around you. Take your rubbish with you. Leave the space as you found it.

Copy House reserves the right to ask any guest to leave if their behaviour poses a risk to themselves or others.
